Allen & Heath AR84

The Allen & Heath AR84 is an 8 XLR input, 4 XLR output AudioRack. Adding an AR84 to your system lets you position some of your I/O up to 100m from the mxer, connected over a single Cat5 cable running Allen & Heath’s dSNAKE protocol. dSNAKE provides control to the remote preamp, and all mic preamps are scene recallable. 

The AR84 is compatible with the Allen & Heath GLD, SQ and Qu digital mixing systems. It provides 8 remote controlled mic/line preamps and 4 XLR line outputs. The AR84 can connect directly to the mixer, or from the expander port of another AR or AB Remote Audio Unit, to expand the number of system inputs and outputs.
