Inspired by the legendary studio technique of daisy-chaining two Urei 1176 FET compressors together, the SlideRIG houses two of Origin’s acclaimed Cali76 circuits in a single enclosure for near-infinite, crystal-clear sustain.
By running two stages of 1176-style compression in series, the SlideRIG allows you to achieve incredible amounts of "squash" and leveled-out dynamics without the harmonic distortion of an overdrive pedal. This results in a "clean overdrive" feel where notes bloom and sustain indefinitely while remaining tonally transparent.
